Five ‘pocket kitchens’ have popped up in Kingston upon Thames and they are generating a buzz in the local food scene.

Kingston Riverside Edge is a concept that brings five unique start up eateries, combined with live music into one space in a project that’s all about encouraging and supporting future talent.

Part of the Riverside Walk development on the Thames, the venue is in the end unit of a converted multi-storey car park. Designed around the original form, the space has a fit out that results in some pretty cool industrial, hipster style chic.

The five kitchens, each with their own branding and style, surround a central common dining area to allow for a whole new kind of food hall experience. The only problem, deciding which kitchen to eat from!

The clever design has allowed for each of the units to easily be restyled and rebranded as new start-ups come through.

So, as the kitchens change every 6 – 12 months with new emerging talent, you will be guaranteed a constant stream of new and fresh ideas coming through in food, music and decor.

The current line up has kitchens offering French American burgers at Le Bun, Mediterranean from The Cloud Kitchen, Local Hero Coffee, Lorenzo’s Pizza Co and the French delights of Folie Macaron. Plus live music every Tuesday from 6.30pm

So if it’s a gourmet burger and a beer you’re looking for or something along the lines of Mediterranean braised pork with a cheeky Merlot, Kingston Riverside Edge has you covered.
